lire (Full-text RSS) App Reviews

I first became a Lire supporter because of its first-rate VoiceOver support. All buttons are labeled, and it is clear the developer is committed to excellence in VoiceOver implementation. But Lire is for everyone! It boasts Feedly syncing; a default non-Cloud interface; many customizable options whose functions actually make sense; a version history that shows genuine progress with every new release; an emphasis on easy readability; and outstanding developer support by email. I like Lire so much that I have deleted all other RSS readers from my device.

Awesome app. Just wish they would make the thumbnail photos bigger and add more fonts and themes.

I like this app and I LOVE its interface I do admire this long list of options I have that are just there under the hood not making a mess. No crashes, it does what it says.

I was looking for a RSS reader that would download full articles and not leave me hanging with "click here to read 10 remaining paragraphs." This one does it.

Was Hands down best rss app in the App Store! Was Worth every cent! Update: article load times have slowed to a crawl. Support site is shut down. Dang!!!!

The pros that stick out for me are a) its full article view so you dont have to load another page to read the full article and b) it has feedly support. So far i like it a lot and it does what i need it to do. I just got to this app after searching on reddit for a good reader. Before i had Reeder which is good but doesnt support full article view. Thanks for making this app.

This RSS reader opens articles in full text faster than any other (Ive tried a lot of them). But comes with a drawback, most pictures and videos embedded in articles dont load, other than that its a great app, thank you!

I waited years for a good rss app that allows standalone subscriptions. In lire, I found a great one. There is an elegant balance between how customizable it is, yet how simple/user friendly. Plus it doesnt saddle you with pre-loaded subscriptions that you either have to manually delete, or, worse, cant be deleted.

I just came across this app after ditching Feedly for the last time. Lire is amazing! Subscribing to new feeds is easy, the UI is clean and gorgeous, and the entire app is buttery smooth. Hoping for updates for the iPhone 6s/6s+ and some 3D Touch options very soon! Keep up the great work!

These developers go the distance and have added Ebook creation to their RSS reader. That way I can read long articles at my leisure on an iPhone or iPad or iPos touch without having to be online. Please keep it coming!

Love it...saves a ton of data, but it keeps crashing on my 6s Plus. Fix that and its a 5 star app.

What happened? My feeds take forever to update. Once they update articles take forever to load if they even do. I continually have to open articles in browser mode to read them. Ack!
